What roadmap will lead you to success?
Six-Week Strategy for Net Zero Action Accelerator Website
In just six weeks, I partnered with the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF), its EDF+Business team, and the website agency Constructive to craft a comprehensive strategy for the new Net Zero Action Accelerator website. This initiative helps businesses turn their climate commitments into tangible action by providing practical, accessible resources.
To accommodate the limited timeline, I built on previous audience research, then led four intensive workshops to define objectives, outline audience-specific goals, and explore innovative features. By the end of the strategy phase, the project was equipped with a clear roadmap, high-level page outlines, and guiding principles to inform development. The finished website built on this foundation to deliver a first-of-its-kind toolkit helping businesses identify concrete next steps and measure their progress.
Collaborative Workshops
Working closely with EDF and Constructive, I designed and facilitated a series of workshops to establish clear objectives, set priorities, and build consensus around the project vision and direction.
Audience Goals and Project Principles
In a first workshop, we outlined specific goals for each audience and defined core principles to guide content, design, and feature decisions throughout the project.
Innovative Feature Exploration
The strategy we finalized included the design for a custom “Pathways” tool, which help businesses identify resources tailored to their goals and track their progress toward net zero commitments.
Content and Structure Planning
I developed high-level outlines for key pages and a clear framework to shape the website’s content and structure as it moved into the design and build phases.
Strategy for Online Eviction Defense Site
The Virginia Poverty Law Center asked me to help define a clear strategy as they transformed their eviction program from a traditional hotline into an innovative online tool. Working within a limited budget, I led workshops and stakeholder interviews to shape a roadmap and structure for a site that guides tenants step by step through preparing their own in-court defense. After the strategy work, I provided coaching to support the team through implementation and launch. The new platform is already helping VPLC reach far more people and draw wider attention to their mission.
Website Strategy for Small Equity Organization
Momentum Conservation builds equity-centered approaches to land conversation by connecting and empowering Maine organizations. I partnered with their team to explore how their audiences—both partner organizations and individual supporters—should interact with the website. Through collaborative workshops, we created an engagement model, defined a high-level sitemap, and mapped out key pages to give their developers a clear blueprint for building the site.
Sitemap and Pathways for Resource Center
Golden Gate Regional Center provides services and supports to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families across the Bay Area. Working with the consulting firm HeartSpark, I helped the organization clarify its many audiences and define what each group needed most from the website. I then mapped out a sitemap and key pages to create clear pathways to information and resources. When launched, the new site will make it much easier for people to find support and get the help they need.
